A very indispensable spice for success of the Indian retail party is Mall Management. In India retail is still emerging sector having immense potential in terms of opportunity. After fetching the customer with good Mall Management it is very necessary to store the merchandise in right quantity at the right time. Merchandise management and Supply Chain Management is here the tool for the issue. Network planning, Inventory control, supply contracts, market forecast, strategic partnering and outsourcing & procurement strategies are the issues which need to be addressed and dealt by every retail brand to procure and deliver the merchandise in best interest of the target market.
No party can be a real ecstasy unless the good food has been served nicely. This what applies to the Indian Retail Party as well. When a consumer visits a mall space or market space he is moved by those stores which have a dainty grooming and do not appear to be a dilapidated warehouse. This can be achieved through Store Planning and Visual Merchandising (VM). It is a matter of great pride that today our country can boast of progress and originality of ideas in the field of VM. Many international brands have come into the domestic market and changed the landscape & dynamics completely.
India has such a rich culture and tradition, the mix of international exposure and our ethnic base can provide us with a window to showcase our unique sense of business sense and design and also a very diverse set of customers to appeal to. In all, the possibilities for Indian Retail are endless, that too when we have still, only partially scratched the surface in tier II and tier III cities. The idea behind all these is to “Keep the Indian Retail Soiree on.”
Here is when RKU`s Learning Environment involves blend of concepts and industry exposure to best of the groups and retail chains, both in online and offline formats for its students in a multi-way platter. To market themselves to the industry experts and decision makers as also financers to fund the student business ideas the students are given complete intellectual, motivational and skill based support to develop their portfolio, very importantly in a way to realise their dream of being a retail professional or an entrepreneur.
